Account Settings

First Name & Last Name

First and Last names are used for network purposes but are not publicly shown on the sites. We ask you use your real first and last name as it will be used to help you find friends in the future.

Username

Your username was chosen at account creation and is the official account name across the network. This is also used as your URL where your account can be found on each site (fun.community/u/username). Your username cannot be changed.

Display Name

Your display name is unique to each site and is the name that will be shown next to your username on both your posts and your user profile. 

Tagline

Your tagline is an optional field that allows you to add a small text blurb to your profile page.

Website

The website field is an optional section where you can add a link to a personal website on your profile page. This link will be clickable and direct people to your website of choice.

Email

This email is the email address associated with your account. This email will be used for login, account recovery and any email notifications you sign up for. It is important that you have and maintain access to this email to maintain control over your account.

Display Email

Your display email is an optional email address you can add to your user profile, allowing other users to access this email to contact you. This will be publicly displayed on your profile.

Bio

Your bio is an optional text field which allows you to add a detailed section of text to your user profile. This will appear under the "About" section of the right sidebar on your profile page.

Avatar

Your avatar is your profile photo for the site. It is unique to each individual site on the network.

Banner

The banner is an optional photo that can be added to a user profile page and is also used in account discovery in the explore page.

Social Networks

These fields allow you to add the links to different social media platforms. These will add icons to your profile page that, when clicked, will take people to your account on the other social media platforms.
