Circles

Circles are custom feeds of friends that you can create in order to group your friendships. You might use them to create circles such as "Coworkers" "High School Friends" or "Family". No one will be aware when you add them to a circle and your circles can't be seen by anyone else. Circles allow you to both see content from specific groups of friends and also share content with specific groups of friends only.

You are able to use circles like channels, allowing you to see posts only by a select set of your friends. You are also able to post to your circles, meaning only the members of that circle will be able to see the post; people in the circle will not be aware the content is only available to their circle and the post will appear like any other post from their perspective, though it will not be viewable by anyone not in the circle.
