Sort By, Type and Post Size

Sort By

The "Sort by" select allows you to choose how content is ordered within a feed. You can sort by Hot, Top, New, Controversial or Rising.

Hot will give you relatively new posts which are recieving lots of upvotes. The more upvotes in a given period of time, the higher the post will be in the Hot ranking.

Top will give you the most upvoted content over a given period of time. Once you select Top, you can select a time period to further sort down posts.

New will give you posts in a chronological order with the newest posts at the top of the feed and the oldest posts at the bottom.

Controversial will give you posts that have the highest amount of both upvotes and downvotes, meaning posts with the most of both will show up higher in the feed.

Rising will give you very new posts that are recieving lots of upvotes. Posts will fall off rising as they get older or upvotes recieved begin to slow.

Type

The "Type" selector allows you to narrow content in a feed to a given post type. You can choose which types you are looking for and it will show only posts of that type.

Post Size

The "Post Size" selector allows you to choose how each post appears in the feed. 

Full will show you the full sized post with all information available in the feed.

Condensed will show you a smaller post with a limited set of information.

Titles Only will show you the smallest post possible with only the post title viewable.

Masonry will show the posts in a unique non-linear layout that will fill the feed area.
